Mankowitz, Wolf

(b. 1924)
   English author. He was born in London, where he became an antique dealer. He wrote various books inspired by his childhood in the East End of London. His publica-tions include A Kid for Two Farthings, Make Me an Offer, The Boychick and The Mendelman Fire.
